It is currently owned by Mongkol Phara and wife Madina Tao – who were reported by The Australian to have links to Cambodia’s ruling party.
The 2016 sale made headlines at the time, due to its $11m price tag beating out the neighbourhood’s previous record of $8.7m.
It is considered to be one of the ultimate entertainment homes available on the Northern Beaches, featuring a mini football field, basketball court, cinema, and elevated podium swimming pool with private beach access.
Other features include custom-designed heated marble floors, sweeping living zones, a sprawling sandstone terrace and space for rooftop entertaining that enjoy views of the ocean.
Median house prices in Clontarf have fallen by 8 per cent over the past 12 months, with the current sold price sitting at $4,772,500.
Inspections of the property are being undertaken by appointment only.
Black Diamondz agents Monika Tu and Jad Khattar listed the Clontarf property, but were not available to comment.
