Rumer Willis Praises Her Mother Demi Following Release Of Her Memoir

According to a report from Fox News, the daughter of Demi Moore, Rumer Willis, recently came out to praise her mother for her new book, Inside Out, in which she described her troubled upbringing as well as her divorce from Ashton Kutcher.

The 31-year-old appeared on an episode of The Talk this past Tuesday, where she dished on her mother’s new memoir, explaining just how proud she was of her mother’s bravery and courage. Regarding her 56-year-old mother, Rumer said she was “proud of her vulnerability,” adding that she believes many women have watched her growth and think of her as a “beacon of strength and this kind of leader.”

What makes Demi different, however, according to Rumer, is that her mother takes responsibility for the things that have happened in her life, and doesn’t play the victim. Rumer is the oldest daughter of Moore and her ex-husband, Bruce Willis.

Previously, Demi’s life worsened when she divorced Ashton Kutcher in 2011, so much to the point that her own children stopped talking to her. Speaking with the host of Good Morning America, Diane Sawyer, Demi claimed she lost her self.

At that time, Moore weighed just 102 pounds, and one year later, in 2012, she had to go to the hospital after she smoked synthetic marijuana at a party in addition to inhaling nitrous oxide. Speaking with the host, Demi claims she asked herself how she got there.

While Demi’s life was surely troubled for many years, Rumer stated that it’s nice to see her mother at her most vulnerable. In other words, she got to know her mom on a number of different levels.
