HomeTown Perform New Single 'Roses' On RT

Publish date: 2024-04-22

Recently Irish boyband HomeTown announced that their new single would be ‘Roses’. The song was first released as the ninth track on their debut album last year.

Tonight the boys performed it live for the first time on TV on RTÉ which is a popular television channel in Ireland. They have been hinting on social media for a couple of weeks that something could’ve been happening and were getting fans to tweet with the hashtag #HTRoses. They also posted a video of the audio to the song earlier in the week on YouTube.

The song seems really popular with fans so far from their reaction on Twitter. There are no release dates for the single yet but the boys do have a couple of upcoming shows which they could perform the new single at. The details for the shows can be found on their website at http://www.wearehometown.com/.

As well as performing the new single tonight the boys also spent over an hour on Whatsapp calling fans. They got them to send a message saying “#Roses” and then called people from there. There were a lot of fans sending in messages which caused the app to crash. However they got round to as many fans as they could in the time. If you’re quick you can check out some of the calls on their snapchat which is athomewithht.
